Traffic Modifications for Weekend Closure of Waterview Avenue at Waterview Avenue Bridge
The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the street closure that will be in effect for Waterview Avenue, at the Waterview Avenue Bridge. Detours will also be in effect. The street closure will start on Friday, October 28th, 2022 beginning at 8:00 p.m and last through Monday October 31st at 5:00 a.m.
In preparation, the following streets will be closed, to through traffic, on Friday, October 28th and reopen on Monday October 31st, 2022:
- Waterview Avenue, at the Waterview Avenue Bridge
The following detours will be implemented for the temporary closure of Waterview Avenue, at the Waterview Avenue Bridge:
- Motorists traveling south on Annapolis Road to Waterview Avenue will be detoured right at the Waterview Avenue Bridge, then left on Hollins Ferry Road, left on Patapsco Avenue, left on Potee-Hanover Street, and left on Waterview Avenue. Posted signs will limit Waterview Avenue to local traffic only during this weekend work.
- Motorists seeking to travel north on Waterview Avenue to Annapolis Road will be detoured to use Hanover Street, and then follow the same detour route that will be posted for northbound travel back to Annapolis Road.
Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are strongly encouraged to use alternate or detour routes provided below throughout the weekend.
